Mining release readiness
The frozen October 26 mainnet has not launched. No public mining, pool endpoint or bootstrap peer is approved. Keep prelaunch mining locked; the retired chain and legacy main-branch binaries are not the new network.
Selected identity: nonce 20261026; P2P/RPC/ZMQ 39480/39481/39482; RandomX, 120-second target; initial difficulty 500,000, minimum 400,000, progressive LWMA90 from height 16. FRG has 8 decimals, a 50M primary reference and perpetual 0.20 FRG tail; no fixed cap.
Native subsidies go to PoW miners. The planned official pool operator fee is 1% of eligible pooled rewards, separate from transaction costs. No pool payouts or accepted public shares are claimed.
Before release
Verify matching binaries, genesis treatment, real solo block maturity and compatible pool shares/payouts on authorized disposable infrastructure, independent review, wallet recovery, cross-platform consensus and rollback. Do not mine on the frozen launch chain to test the application.
Possible future merged mining (research only)
FRG + Tari: explore adapting the patched Tari RandomXM proxy so mining on an FRG parent block could also compete for Tari rewards, if Tari accepts FRG-origin RandomX proof and coinbase commitments. This would not import Monero or Tari hashrate into FRG. XMR + FRG: separately research FRG as a Monero-merge-mined auxiliary chain; that would require new audited FRG consensus verification, external miner/pool adoption and a coordinated hard fork. Neither mode is available or promised.
51% risk reduction before launch
Priorities are independent miners and pool operators, geographically diverse nodes and peers, read-only cross-node monitoring of forks and difficulty, and fail-closed pool reward quarantine on deep reorganizations. These controls reduce detection time and settlement exposure; they cannot defeat an attacker with majority work. Read the research, limitations and test gates.
