ForgeCoin Pool Observer
Explore solo versus pool mining estimates, individual share effort, and probability distributions.
Mining calculator inputs
The separate network-hashrate input is for comparisons and pool-share estimates. With a measured network difficulty, implied PoW mean block interval is difficulty / network hashrate; it may differ from the 120-second consensus target. Using the target for projection assumes stable equilibrium.
Your estimated mining results
Single share and solo-block probability
For proof-of-work mining with stable hashrate, the probability of at least one discovery by effort E is 1 − exp(−E), where E is multiples of the expected work. A 100% effort does not guarantee a discovery.
| Effort | Chance ≥1 share | Chance ≥1 solo block | Expected time to reach effort |
|---|
Cumulative share effort distribution
Probability of finding at least one share across 0–1,000% of its expected effort. The corresponding solo-block curve follows the same distribution when normalized to its own mean difficulty.
What these estimates assume
Expected solo rewards: individual hashrate ÷ network difficulty × 86,400 seconds × average block reward. Pool rewards: expected pool blocks per day × estimated block reward × miner share of the pool × (1 − operator fee). Both simplify network variability, reorgs, payout rounding, transaction fees, pool luck, historical share eligibility, miner downtime and changing emission. The estimates are not live payout forecasts.
Pool estimates assume that your hashrate is included in the pool total, and a stable proportional contribution. A real PPLNS window can temporarily make actual rewards higher or lower. The pool may not yet be operational.
